The topic of discussion: nuances to creating a successful marketing campaign. And who better to share than the woman responsible for our fantastic McDonald’s creative. Alongside her was Kathy Chaney, former managing editor of EBONY and past president of NABJ’s Chicago chapter, Daisy Garcia, account director, Hispanic Marketing, Flowers Communications Group, Mary Datcher, senior staff writer and entertainment editor for the Chicago Defender, and Rummana Hussain, Assistant Metro Desk Editor for the Chicago Sun-Times and secretary of the local AAJA (Asian American Journalists Association) chapter.
