New CEO maps out goals to prepare Burrell for future growth

In a Black Enterprise feature, Tara DeVeaux outlined how Burrell is preparing for its next stage of growth during her first year as CEO.

The agency announced a restructuring of its executive leadership team, with senior leaders elevated across project management, account management, strategy, media, finance, brand development, creative and operations.

DeVeaux described the shift as a way to create centers of brilliance across core disciplines while giving the agency a clearer structure for innovation, collaboration and future growth.

She also framed Burrell's opportunity around the creative power of Black culture, with a focus on proprietary research, sharper strategy, disruptive creative work and partnerships across media and technology.
